Well, that was the idea anyway!

Top Resources for Horse Racing Information, Statistics & Trends
Many successful horse racing strategies and systems are based on statistics and trends. However, if you’re interested in developing your own strategies and systems, the first thing you probably want to know is where to find horse racing information at little or no cost. With this in mind, we’ve scoured the Web for what we consider to be the top ten resources of this kind, available to you at little or no cost.
Equibase
Equibase is the official provider of horse racing information and statistics for North America, including the famous Daily Racing Form. The website offers a plethora of free and subscription services, including comprehensive, cross-referenced statistics dating back to 2000 completely free of charge. In short, if you want to know anything about horse racing in North America, Equibase is the place to start.
Flatstats
Flatstats is a well-established subscription service, having been online since 2000, and offers comprehensive statistics on horses, jockeys, owners, sires and trainers. In addition, a useful daily statistics table allows subscribers to quickly identify profitable jockey/trainer combinations, horses changing class, horses returning with 7 days and so on. Subscriptions start at £25 a month, which seems reasonable given the vast amount of information accessible to subscribers.
Horseracebase
As the name suggests, Horseracebase is a horse racing database, supplying ratings, statistics and systems for racing in the UK and Ireland. The site works with its members to create an ever-increasing range of analytical and research tools and offers a 3-day free trial, which provides access to full features and functionality. Thereafter, you can continue to use the site by making an affordable donation of €12.50 a month, although an enhanced service is available for a minimum donation of €20.00 a month.
Racing Post
The website of the only horse racing daily newspaper in the UK and essentially a ‘one stop shop’ for horse racing information. The ‘Statistics’ option on the home page requires subscription to the Members’ Club, at a cost of £14.50 (or £29.95 for the ‘Ultimate’ option) per month, but a huge database of cross-referenced, career statistics for horses, jockeys, trainers and owners is available free of charge, simply by using the ‘Search’ facility or by drilling down from any of the racecards. It’s frankly amazing that so much useful information is still available free of charge so, if you haven’t already done so, bookmark the site now.
Sporting Life
Although the last printed copy of the Sporting Life, the forerunner of the Racing Post, appeared in 1998, the name and ethos of the historic newspaper live on in its companion website. The site offers plenty to interest anyone with even a passing interest in horse racing, with an insightful ‘Notebook’ feature and Video Form (available free of charge to Sky Bet account holders) among our particular favourites. The statistics available from the dedicated ‘Stats’ section cover only the current season, the last 14 days or the last 7 days but, while they lack the depth of those available elsewhere, they’re nonetheless useful in their own right.
Given the Hoof!
So horses have been giving me the finger for all of the years? That explains a lot!
